China increases military flights over Taiwan Strait, challenges sea boundaries

U.S. officials said China is stepping up aerial operations over the 100-mile Taiwan Strait, in some cases crossing the median line separating Chinese and Taiwanese sea territory. Chinese sorties of Su-30 and J-10 fighters have increased, raising concerns in Taiwan that China might trigger a conflict.
