U.S. military commander warns of ‘real’ threats from N. Korea's military as Kim fades

The commander of the U.S. forces in S. Korea warned that N. Korea poses a "real" threat, with nuclear weapons, missiles and other weapons of mass destruction. "While North Korea's capability has limitations, they can still cause enormous damage . . . with little or no warning," Army Gen. Walter Sharp, chief of U.S. Forces Korea, said. Hu takes 'China Model' on the road to America's backyard as U.S. economy falters

President Hu Jintao was showing off the “China model” during his Latin American tour even as propagandists back home were asking Chinese to glory in the enhanced global status of China in the wake of the global financial crisis.
