S. Korea urged to upgrade role in U.S.-led Proliferation Security Initiative

SEOUL — A state-run think tank has called for South Korea to become a full member of the U.S.-led anti-proliferation campaign now that a conservative government has taken power here. The Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security said the incoming Obama administration is expected to bolster the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI).
