China building aircraft carrier, buys hovercraft 'of particular interest to Taiwan'

China’s military has signed an agreement with the Ukraine to purchase four large military transport hovercraft that will boost Beijing's capabilities for attacking Taiwan. The $315-million deal is part of China’s naval buildup, the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported. Two of the hovercraft will be built in China under Ukrainian supervision. (FULL STORY)
