Former White House adviser warns China moves adding up to 'peril' for U.S.
The National Security adviser during the last Bush administration, said U.S.-China relations face "peril" if Beijing emerges as a hostile world military power. “Americans feel that we have made the major commercial and diplomatic sacrifices to pressure Iran and North Korea to forego nuclear weapons programs that threaten both Chinese and U.S. interests — while China is actually expanding its commercial and economic ties with both countries,” he said.
