U.S. intel: China testing missile designed specifically to target aircraft carriers

Adm. Robert Willard, commander of U.S. Pacific forces, disclosed for the first time that China is testing a new anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) capable of attacking U.S. aircraft carriers. The four-star admiral told a congressional panel last week that new missile is a variant of the DF-21/CSS-5 medium-range ballistic missile “designed specifically to target aircraft carriers.” The missile had previously been described as in development. China automaker takes over Volvo with a little help from Vice President Xi Jinping

It was one of Chinese industry's proudest moments. Geely Motors, China’s no-frills "auto manufacturer for the proletariats," took over the luxurious Swedish sedan maker Volvo last Sunday.
