China attacks U.S. X-37B as threat to 'established space strategic balance'

A senior Chinese military official has accused the United States of launching a new military space race with the test flight of the X-37B space plane. Li Daguang, a senior military space specialist at China’s National Defense University, stated in a report that the Air Force X-37B is a top-secret development program and appears to be a miniature version of the space shuttle. “This kind of space aircraft represents the highest level of today's space technology,” he said.
